Funeral services for Eugene C. Winslow, 70, Route 2, who died Monday morning at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City will be at 1:30 p.m. at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Winslow was born May 8, 1911, the son of Elgar and Sara Troette Winslow. He married Fern Eckwall Aug. 24, 1940 in Burlington. She survives.

Also surviving are one son Kenneth E. of Cedar Rapids, one grandson; three sisters, Vena Speer of Rapids City, Ill., Faye Power of Palisade, Colo., Mildred Ireland of Salt Lake City, Utah; two brothers Ned Winslow and Arthur Winslow, both of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and two brothers.

Winslow was a maintenance operator for county-state and the city of Fairfield for 33 years.
