Dennis Richard DIEHL, 70, of Keosauqua, died Sunday, April 24, 2016, at Center Village in Keosauqua.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m., one hour prior to the service, Wednesday at the funeral home.

Dennis Richard DIEHL, 70, of Keosauqua, died Sunday, April 24, 2016, at Center Village of Tenco in Keosauqua.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with Danny Cary officiating.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m., one hour prior to service time, Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. DIEHL was born July 23, 1945, in Fairfield, the son of Richard Carl and Viola Louise HAWK DIEHL.

He was a graduate of Fairfield High School with the Class of 1964.

He served in the Army Reserves, completing basic training in Kentucky.

Mr. DIEHL lived at Center Village of Tenco for the last several years. He enjoyed listening to '60s music, talking politics and going for walks.

Survivors include: his mother of Fairfield; two sisters, Vivian DIEHL of Fairfield and Jeannette DIEHL of West Burlington; and two brothers, Melvin DIEHL of Fairfield and Ron DIEHL of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his father.
