Carol P. GOULD, 81, of rural Bonaparte, died at 2:13 a.m. today, Friday April 1, 2016, at Keosauqua Care Center in Keosauqua.
Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Carol P. GOULD, 81, of rural Bonaparte, died at 2:13 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2016, at Keosauqua Health Care Center in Keosauqua.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Boniface Church in Farmington, with the Rev. Dennis Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).
Visitation will open at 3 p.m. today at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with family present from 4-6 p.m.
Memorials to Alzheimer's Research or HCI Hospice can be left at the funeral home, church or mailed to the family at 23604 Highway 2, Bonaparte 52620.
Mrs. GOULD was born Nov. 15, 1934, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of William and Mary HERMSEN KRACK. She married Thomas G. GOULD Dec. 26, 1953, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Moline.
Mrs. GOULD worked as a domestic engineer in the Quad Cities and at Modern Woodmen in Rock Island, Illinois, and at Butterworth Center in Moline, Illinois, as a caretaker for 10 years before her retirement in 1994.
She made her home in the Quad-Cities (sic) - Silvis and Moline - for 57 years until her retirement, when they moved to their current home, called "The Farm," in rural Bonaparte.
She enjoyed her country life as well as gardening, dancing, ice cream, fishing, spending time and camping with friends and family. She also enjoyed volunteering at schools, church and hospitals.
She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Farmington.
Survivors include: her husband, Thomas; three sons, Steve GOULD and wife Patty of Macomb, Illinois, Jeff GOULD and wife Kathy of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Mike GOULD of Phoenix, Arizona; two daughters, Sharon SKELTON and husband Steve of Geneseo, Illinois, Sheila RULAND and husband Boyd of Mesa, Arizona; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; one sister, Mary HEENE; one brother, Richard KRACK; and one grandson.
