Ruby E. KISLING

Ruby E. KISLING, 94, of Cantril died at 4:25 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Living Center East in Cedar Rapids.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cantril United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Donna Olinger officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield (note: in Davis Co., IA).

Visitation will open at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with family present 5-7 p.m.

Memorials to Cantril United Methodist Church or Cantril Grass Roots can be left at the funeral home or church or mailed to the family at 5766 Underwood Ave., Cedar Rapids 52404.

Mrs. KISLING was born Nov. 10, 1921, near Troy, the daugher (sic) of Joseph and Emma BALES REISCH. She married Wayne E. KISLING June 22, 1942, in Victoria, Texas. He died in December 1977.

Mrs. KISLING graduated from Cantril High School.

She was a homemaker.

She worked many years at Fairfield Glove Company in Bonaparte.

She was an active member of Cantril United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.

She enjoyed quilting, gardening, yard work and visiting with family.

Survivors include: one son, Gary KISLING and wife Susan of Wadsworth, Ohio; one daughter, Joyce SUNDE of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: one grandson; and two brothers, Francis and Ivan REISCH.
