Charlotte DONAHUE, 59, of Fairfield, died Monday, March 7, 2016, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is helping the family with arrangements.

Charlotte Denise DONAHUE

Charlotte Denise DONAHUE, 59, of Fairfield, died Monday, March 7, 2016, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

The funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Ed Parker officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.

Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family. Cards and memorials can be mailed to Sherri ADKINS-DIA, 424 N. Court St., Ottumwa 52101. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.behnerfh.com.

Mrs. DONAHUE was born Feb. 1, 1957, in Fairfield, the daughter of Clyde and Grace DENNISON SHONDEL.

Mrs. DONAHUE lifed in Fairfield all her life.

She worked at Optimae as a social worker.

She liked to play bingo, read, and spend time with family and friends.

Survivors include: two children, C. John DONAHUE of Fairfield and Cindy BEADLE of Oskaloosa; three grandchildren; four brothers, Mike SHONDEL, Albert SHONDEL, Doug SHONDEL and Larry SHONDEL, all of Fairfield; and three sisters, Ann WAGNER of Keosauqua, Tina SCOTT of Fairfield, and Sherri ADKINS of Ottumwa.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; four brothers, Fred, Clyde, Robert and Herbie; and three sisters, Ella GREINER, Debbie HEDIQUIST (sic - HEDQUIST?) and Mabel SHONDEL.
