Delta Juanita DAILEY

Delta Juanita DAILEY, 95, of Montgomery, Texas passed from this life on February 25, 2016, in Conroe, Texas. She was born September 16, 1920, in Lee County, Iowa, to Owen Guy LEAZER and Edith BARNES LEAZER.

Growing up as one of twelve children, Delta enjoyed her early years surrounded by ten brothers and one sister. Loving known (sic) as Susie, Delta lived her life as a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. Over the years she and her husband, Kenneth, made their home first in Iowa and later in Arizona, Arkansas and Texas. Susie spent her final years in residence with her family in Montgomery, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth DAILEY, and brothers and sister, Olan, Keith, Victor, Garold, Newell, Leron, James, and Merriam LEAZER.

Survivors include her son Jack W. DAILEY and wife Lynn, of Montgomery, Texas; her daughter, Janet I. DAILEY, of Wimberley, Texas; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild. Her memory remains with her family and siblings, Floyd, Harold, and Jerry LEAZER.

A Memorial Service is pending. Date and time to be announced. Private burial will be in the Batavia City Cemetery, Batavia, Iowa. For more information and those wishing to post tributes and memories to the family may do so at www.eickenhorstfuneral.com . (sic)

Delta Juanita DAILEY

Delta Juanita DAILEY, 95, of Montgomery, Texas, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, in Conroe Texas.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Batavia First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Michael Finn officiating.

A reception at the Batavia Community Center will follow the service.

A private burial was in Batavia Cemetery.

Eickenhorst Funeral Services in Conroe, Texas, assisted with arrangements.
