Peggy ROSS

Peggy E. ROSS, 63, of Osceola, formerly of Douds, died at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at Southern Hills Care Center in Osceola (note: in Clarke Co., IA).

The body has been cremated.

Pedrick Funeral Home of Douds is in charge of arrangements.

Peggy ROSS

Peggy E. ROSS, 63, of Osceola, died at 4:20 p.m. Wednedsay, Feb. 3, 2016, at Southern Hills Care Center in Osceola.

In accordance with her wishes, the body has been cremated. A joint graveside service with her mother, Betty SMITH, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, east of Douds (note: in Van Buren Co., IA), with the Rev. Phil Ross officiating.

Memorials to Zion Bible Church can be left at the cemetery or mailed to the family at 4505 Belmont Road, Downers Grove, IL 60515.

Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. ROSS was born Aug. 5, 1952, in Fairfield, the daughter of Murl A. and Betty M. GRAY SMITH. She married Harold ROSS. He proceded (sic) her in death.

She lived for many years in the Douds area and graduated from Van Buren High School.

She moved to Kansas City, Missouri, and was employed by the Department of Defense until she retired.

Survivors include: one sister, Beverly SCHAFER of Downers Grove, Illinois.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: her father. Her mother, Betty SMITH, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016.
