Cynthia, L. BLYTHE (sic), 55, of Trenton and formerly of Fairfield, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City from injuries suffered in a one-vehicle automobile accident Jan. 29 on county road W55 in Henry County.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Kimzey Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.

Cynthia L. BLYTHE, 55, of Trenton and formerly of Fairfield, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Per her wishes, cremation has been accorded, and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
Kimzey Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant is assisting the family with arrangements.

Cynthia Lou HAGANS was born Sept. 8, 1960, in Iowa City, the daughter of Jack Lorrin and Luella Almera CALHOUN HAGANS. She married Darold Eugene BLYTHE Feb. 14, 1997, in Mt. Pleasant. He died Feb. 7, 2015, in Mt. Pleasant.
Mrs. BLYTHE was raised in Fairfield where she attended school.
She had been a custodian at the Mt. Pleasant Community High School. For most of her working life, she was employed in the parts department and detail shop of Shottenkirk Motors in Mt. Pleasant. She was employed there at the time of her death.
In her spare time, Mrs. BLYTHE tended to a large collection of crafts and knickknacks. With her husband, she was an enthusiastic rider on their Harley Davidson (sic - Harley-Davidson) motorcycle.
Survivors include: three children, Aaron HAGANS and John BLYTHE, both of Mt. Pleasant, and Michelle CASKEY and husband Thomas of Avonsdale, Arizona; her father, Jack HAGANS of Fairfield; two brothers, Rick HAGANS and Jack HAGANS, both of Fairfield; one sister, Laura "Chris" WAGNER of Ottumwa; and six grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother.
