Paul J. HOLLANDER Jr., 85, of Verona, Wis., and formerly of Fairfield, died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004, in Verona.
The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kenneth Ebb officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington.
Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established to Salina Cemetery Association.
Mr. HOLLANDER was born April 13, 1919, in Salina, the son of Paul Clifford and Irene Elaine HILLMAN HOLLANDER. He married Shirley HALVERSON Aug. 5, 1953, at her parents home near Lockridge. She later died.
He graduated from Fairfield High School and attended business college. He farmed in the Salina community and near Oskaloosa for 42 years from 1959 until his retirement in 1981. He was a resident of Four Winds Manor Care Center in Verona for the past two years.
Survivors include one son, John HOLLANDER of Madison, Wis.; two grandsons; and one brother, Max HOLLANDER of Fairfield.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
