Alison Marie MAYBERRY, 21, of Richland, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, at her home.
The funeral was held this morning at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Joseph Phung officiating. Burial was in the St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials can be directed for Lyme Disease Research in her memory.
Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant assisted the family.
Miss MAYBERRY was born April 19, 1994, in Fairfield, the daughter of Gary and Brenda MAYBERRY KRUSE.
She was a graduate of Pekin High School in the Class of 2012, where she was active in band and cross country.
She had received a degree in integrated nutrition and enjoyed helping people eat healthy.
She was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in Washington.
She loved to be active by riding her bike and swimming.
Survivors include: her parents of Richland; and one sister Lea BRAATHUN of Story City.
She was preceded in death by: her grandparents, John Richard and Lucille MAYBERRY and Jim and Betty KRUSE.
