Carl Keith "Doc" MYERS, 81, of Fairfield, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015 at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. MYERS was born Jan. 7, 1934, in Fairfield, the son of C.E. and Bernice McCLEARY MYERS. He married Dixie Mae HOOTMAN June 3, 1955.
Mr. MYERS was a lifelong farmer.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He served as a Van Buren County Fair Board member.
He enjoyed working in his shop and fixing things. He loved sports and was a Little League coach. Most important to Mr. MYERS was spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Survivors include: his wife, Dixie MYERS of Fairfield; his children, Deborah STORTZ and husband Jim of Cordova, Illinois, Jerry MYERS and wife Nicki of Luray, Missouri, and Sheryl PITTS and husband Nick of Kirksville, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Kenneth MYERS.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; one son, Garry MYERS; and one brother, Raymond MYERS.
