Lyndon Logan OGDEN

Lyndon Logan OGDEN, 89, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, at the Flo Jones Hospice House in Janesboro, Arkansas.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 21 at Coulon-Lyons Funeral Home in Ashton, Illinois.

Mr. OGDEN was born Dec. 22, 1925, in Fairfield, the son of Logan and Edythe OGDEN. He married Barbara JOHNSTON March 1, 1947.

Mr. OGDEN was a farmer in Fairfield for many years, then started his truck driving career with Midwest Emery in 1955 After moving to Ashton, Illinois, in 197, he drove for Forney Trucking from 1975 until he retired in 1988.

He enjoyed gardening, western movies, good food and the company of his family and friends.

Survivors include: one son, Jeff OGDEN and wife Patti of Pocahontas, Arkansas; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; three brothers; and one great-grandson.
