Sharon Kay GLASGOW

Sharon Kay GLASGOW, 73, of Eldon died at 8:39 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, in the emergency room of Ottumwa Regional Health Center (note: in Wapello Co., IA).

In accord with Mrs. GLASGOW's wishes, the body has been cremated. A gathering of family and friends will be at a later time.

Memorials to Eldon Public Library can be mailed to Ronald GLASGOW, 217 Selma St., Eldon 52554.

Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua is assisting the family with arrangements.

Sharon Kay GLASGOW

Sharon Kay GLASGOW, 73, of Eldon died at 8:39 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, in the emergency room of Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa.

In accord with Mrs. GLASGOW's wishes, the body has been cremated. A memorial gathering of family and friends will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Wapello Hall on the Wapello County Fairgrounds in Eldon. A private burial of cremains will be at a later date in Sioc Cemetery in rural Eldon (note: in Wapello Co., IA).

Memorials to Eldon Public Library can be mailed to Ronald GLASGOW, 217 Selma St., Eldon 52554.

Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua is assisting the family.

Mrs. GLASGOW was born Nov. 1, 1942, in Eldon, the daughter of Monte and Mildred BLACK STAGERS. She married Ronald GLASGOW.

Mrs. GLASGOW grew up in Eldon and graduated from Eldon High School.

She and her husband lived most of their married life in Eldon.

She had worked at Benson's Hardware Store and Eldon Public Library.

She volunteered at the Eldon Opera House.

She attended Eldon Christian Church.

Mrs. GLASGOW enjoyed going to rummage sales and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include: her husband; two sons, Randy GLASGOW and wife Cheryl of Winfield, and Kirk GLASGOW of Ankeny; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one brother, George STAGERS of Ottumwa.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; and one sister, Doris LANE.
