Beverly I. SNUFFER

Beverly I. SNUFFER, 82, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and formerly of Van Buren County, died at 1:43 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, at her home.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Beverly I. SNUFFER

Beverly I. SNUFFER, 82, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and formerly of Bonaparte, died at 1:43 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, at her home with her daughter and granddaughter.

The funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Linda REX officiating. Burial will be in Bonaparte Cemetery in Bonaparte (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

Visitation, with family present, will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday prior to the service.

Memorials to the family can be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at PO Box 791, Smyrna, TN 37164.

Mrs. SNUFFER was born April 30, 1933, in Bloomberg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Alvie and Louise ROBBINS WEATHERILL. She married Garland W. SNUFFER March 16, 1957, at Turbotville, Pennsylvania. He died Dec. 15, 2008.

Mrs. SNUFFER grew up in Turbotville and attended Turbotville schools.

She spent many of her married years in California and later years in rural southeast Iowa near her daughter. After his death, she moved to Texas for a time where her younger son lived, and most recently she lived with her daughter in Murfreesboro.

She was a member of Church of God Fellowship in Richland, Washington.

Mrs. SNUFFER enjoyed attending Murfreesboro Art League with her daughter and granddaughter, organic gardening, arts and crafts, cooking, attending church activities and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include: two sons, Garland M. SNUFFER of Monrovia, California, and Eric A. SNUFFER and wife Edith of Tyler, Texas; one daughter, Linda A. SNUFFER REX of Tennessee; three grandchildren; and one sister, Maxine REIMENSNYDER.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: her parents; and one brother, Donald WEATHERILL.
