Jerry Wayne HENDRICKS

Jerry Wayne HENDRICKS, 74, of Fairfield, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

Per his wishes, the body has been cremated.

A visitation for family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Fairfield.

Memorials can be made to First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Cards and memorials can be mailed to Linda HENDRICKS, 2125 155th St., Fairfield 52556. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.behnerfh.com.

Behner Funeral Home & Crematory in Fairfield is assisting with arrangements.

Mr. HENDRICKS was born Aug. 13, 1941, in Fairfield, the son of Donald and Louise CONOVER HENDRICKS. He married Linda BILLINGSLEY in Fairfield.

Mr. HENDRICKS served in the Army National Guard.

He was co-owner of Jerry & Bills Firestone for many years in Washington, Iowa, and later started his own business, Hendricks Sound, for which he was an electrician and sound technician.

Mr. HENDRICKS enjoyed golfing, fishing and visiting Branson, Missouri.

He was a member of the Eagles, the American Legion, and he was a past Masonic Lodge member. In 2015, he was inducted to Clinton County Fair Hall of Fame.

He attended the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Survivors include: his wife, Linda HENDRICKS of Fairfield; two sons, Kevin HENDRICKS and wife Gayle of Keota and Roger HENDRICKS and wife Michele of Birmingham; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
