Howard William MOORE Jr., 80 of Fairfield, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with Kevin Schrader, Steve Schrader and Lester Schlatter offering words of comfort. Interment will be at 2 p.m. Friday at West Chester Cemetery in West Chester.
Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. MOORE was born Dec. 26, 1934, in Des Moines, the son of Howard William MOORE Sr. and Mabel Francis GEE. He married Mildred Ann WALLACE Jan. 8, 1955, in West Chester.
Mr. MOORE spent most of his life as being a mechanic where he enjoyed teaching so many people.
He enjoyed playing softball, fishing and camping. He loved watching his grandsons play soccer.
Survivors include: four children, Melinda MENDENHALL and husband Jerry of Nashville, Tennessee, Vicki RITZ and husband Charles BLYTHE of Mt. Pleasant, Julie HILL and husband Dan of New London and Shawn MOORE and wife Mandy of Fairfield; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Mildred Ann MOORE; and one sister, Nancy KESSEL.
