Keeva Rachel STANBERRY

Keeva, beloved by her family and friends, touched people with her kindness, humor, wit, intellect and love. She cherished her family and her greatest treasure was her son, Leo. The response to her untimely death by the outpouring of love and affection from so many has brought comfort and pride to her family.

Keeva was born in Miami, Florida and grew up in Florida, Maryland, and New Mexico. She attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. She lived most of her adult life in the San Francisco Bay area until 2011, when she moved to Fairfield to be near family. Keeva was a talented writer and passionate about reading, traveling, and yoga.

She is survived by her son, Leo, her mother and step father, Catherine and Chet SWANSON, her father, Walker STANBERRY, her brothers, Rhett STANBERRY, Gabe STANBERRY, and Jordan STANBERRY, her sisters, Sarah SWANSON and Courtney SWANSON, her grandmothers, Ada GOVE and Marjorie STANBERRY along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins she dearly loved.

A Celebration of Keeva's life will be held Friday, August 28th at 7:30 p.m. at St. Gabriel And All Angels - The Liberal Catholic Church, 300 Burlington Ave., Fairfield, IA.
