Wayne E. Robison, 79, of Milton died at 10:25 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Grace United Methodist Church in Milton, with the Rev. Bryon Wixom officiating. The body has been cremated. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

Visitation began at 2 p.m. today at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua; family will be present from 7-8 p.m. today.

Memorials to Grace United Methodist Church or American Legion Russell-Strait Post 483 can be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 107 N. Jolley, Milton 52570.

Mr. Robison was born Jan. 28, 1925, near Birmingham, the son of Roy A. and Bertha Parsons Robison. He married Virginia Turner Feb. 18, 1951, in Ottumwa.

After graduating from Milton High School, he served in the United States Army during World War II. He farmed near Milton and was employed by Van Buren County Highway Department and for many years as superintendent of road construction by Estle-DeLong Construction Co. of Fairfield.

Mr. Robison was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and American Legion Russell-Strait Post 483 in Milton.

He was a hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Danny Robison of Milton; and one brother, Leroy Robison of Milton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one infant brother.
