Gary Duane McFARLAND

Gary Duane McFARLAND, 68 of Washington, Iowa, died today, Thursday, July 30, 2015, at All American Care Center in Washington (note: in Washington Co., IA).

Cremation has been accorded. Interment of cremains will be at a later date in Bonaparte Cemetery at Bonaparte (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

Arrangements are in the care of Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mr. McFARLAND was born Oct. 26, 1946, in Ottumwa, the son of Keith and Mildred DOUTHART McFARLAND. He married Georgia Lee RAFT in December 1980. She preceded him in death.

He had worked as a cook and in the laundry area at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

He attended Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include: his sister-in-law Sheryl WEGNER of West Branch.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
