Mary Margaret GARRETSON

Mary Margaret GARRETSON, 60, of Fairfield, died Friday, July 17, 2015, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Per her wishes, the body has been cremated. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home & Crematory in Fairfield.

Memorials can be made to Noah's Ark Animal Foundation or The Lord's Cupboard. Cards and memorials can be sent to Lynn GARRETSON, 900 W. Tyler Ave., Fairfield 52556. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.behnerfh.com.

Mrs. GARRETSON was born July 8, 1955, in Fairfield, the daughter of Raymond Jr. and Alyce BURGER KESSEL. She married Warren Lynn GARRETSON Nov. 17, 1973.

Mrs. GARRETSON was a sales clerk at Gobbles Clothing Store.

She enjoyed traveling and attending meetings of New Sweden Quilters, Kiwanis Club and Red Hat Society. She loved spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed attending her grandchildren's school events.

Survivors include: her husband, Lynn GARRETSON; two children, Heather NELSON and husband Shawn, and Joe GARRETSON and wife Nicole; five grandchildren; her mother, Alyce KESSEL; four brothers, David KESSEL, Mike KESSEL, John KESSEL and Charles KESSEL; amd (sic) two sisters, Ann SIRDOREUS and Joan SIRDOREUS.

She was preceded in death by: her father, Raymond KESSEL; and one son, Ryan GARRETSON.
