Sylvia Marie HARRISON

Sylvia Marie HARRISON, 82, of Fairfield, died Wednesday evening, May 27, 2015, at her home.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Stacy Grau officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church, one hour prior to the funeral service.

Memorials have been established to: T.T.T., the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center Endowment Fund or to First Lutheran Church. Online condolences can be left at www.raymondfuneralhomes.com .

Arrangements are in the care of Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mrs. HARRISON was born Dec. 18, 1932, in Council Bluffs, the daughter of Julius A. and Gertrude KNUDSEN JOHNSON. She married C.R. "Bob" HARRISON June 14, 1953.

She grew up in Council Bluffs and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School. She attended Parsons College in Fairfield.

She was a stay at home mother and later worked at the ASCS office in Fairfield.

Mrs. HARRISON was a member of T.T.T. and First Lutheran Church.

Survivors include: two sons, Doug HARRISON and wife Mary of Mt. Pleasant and Dave HARRISON of Arvada, Colorado; two daughters, Connie BOYER and husband Bob of Fairfield and Cindy NAVEIRA and husband John of Burbank, California; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Leo JOHNSON of Ogden, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; and five brothers, Carlton, Ed, Bob, George and Harold JOHNSON.
