John Michael THOMPSON II

John Michael THOMSON II, 35, of Milton, died Sunday, May 17, 2015.

Per his wish, the body has been cremated. A graveside memorial will be at noon Saturday, with John THOMPSON III officiating, at Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

Behner Funeral Home & Crematory in Fairfield is assisting with arrangements.

Mr. THOMPSON was born March 14, 1980, in Torrance, California, the son of John and Gloria LAWING THOMPSON.

He lived the last two years in Iowa. He was an iron worker at Carl A. Nelson Company.

He enjoyed being outside. Some of his outdoor activities were: sky diving, riding his Harley, boating and fishing. He also liked spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include: his mother, Gloria THOMPSON of Milton; two children, John THOMPSON III and Evelyn THOMPSON of Lemoore, California; grandmother; Gayle THOMPSON of Milton; and one brother, Bradd THOMPSON of Milton.

He was preceded in death by: his father, John THOMPSON; grandfather; and one brother, Michael COCHRAN.
