Karen Renee (BROWN) LANKFORD

Karen Renee (BROWN) LANKFORD 43, of Ollie, Iowa passed away Friday May 22, 2015 at home after a long battle with cancer.

Her family includes her life partner Tom Smith; three children, son Tyler MOORE and twin daughters Amber and Allison LANKFORD all from Ollie, Iowa.

Karen was born Sept. 22, 1971 in Carthage, Ill to Pearl and Jean (HARTER) BROWN. The family moved to Iowa in 1974 with Karen spending the rest of her life in the Fairfield, Iowa area.

Karen is survived by her partner Tom; her children; her parents; three siblings, David (Zeny Watson) BROWN, Deborah (Bruce) RHUM, Peggy SPENCER; 4 nieces; 3 nephews; 4 great nieces, and Dot.

Karen is a 1990 graduate of Fairfield High School. Karen worked various jobs with main employment at Harper Brush Works, Angel Graphics and Portofolia in Fairfield. Karen's hobbies include; drawing, painting, fishing, hunting, farm critters, flower gardening, auctions, music, picking mushrooms, horseback riding, Antique Road Show and just plain redneck fun.

The Celebration of Life for Karen will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at JEBS Park in Batavia, Iowa. Karen's body has been cremated.

In lieu of flowers, contributions will be allocated to a memorial find in the name of Karen Renee.
