Evelyn Jean PIERSON

Evelyn Jean PIERSON passed away on December 5, 2014. She was 79 years old.

Born February 10, 1935 in Fairfield, Iowa to Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. PIERSON. She attended Washington Grade School, Fairfield High School, and Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa. After graduating from Cornell, she taught school for two years in Iowa.

Jean then moved to Chicago where she was employed in the home office of Kraft Foods. After Kraft closed its Chicago office, she worked for the American Academy of Peridontology in the Human Resource Department.

Jean was an accomplished pianist and vocalist. She wrote many poems, collected old post cards, pictures, and books on Angels and Carousel Horses.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Charlotte LAMB.

She is survived by a brother and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service April 18, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield, Iowa.
