Pamela Lynn (GENKINGER) HERDMAN, 68, passed away with her family by her side on Friday, February 20, 2015, at home in Ridgedale, Missouri.
The funeral and interment is set for Thursday, March 26, at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery in Rockford, Illinois, with her niece, the Rev. Genelle GENKINGER NETLAND officiating.
Memorials can be made to the Salvation Army or the Branson Cox Cancer Center. Cards and memorials may be sent to Mr. Lee HERDMAN at 211 Amanda Road, Ridgedale, MO 65739.
Mrs. HERDSMAN (sic) was born August 22, 1946, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Leona (PARCELL) GENKINGER. She married Lee HERDSMAN (sic) August 15, 1970, at First United Methodist Church in Fairfield.
Pam graduated from Fairfield High School with the Class of 1964 and attended Parsons College for two years. She worked as a bookkeeper and chief financial officer for Heartland Blood Center in Aurora, Illinois, for twenty years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and doting on her family.
Survivors include: her loving husband; two sons, Erik HERDMAN of North Aurora, Illinois, and Mark HERDMAN of Round Lake Beach, Illinois; two sisters, Linda BONNETT (Gary) of Port St. Lucie, Florida., (sic) and Martha CHARLES of Clive, Iowa; one sister-in-law, Claudia GENKINGER WORLEY (Larry) of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; and six nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; two brothers, William in infancy and John GENKINGER; and one sister, Susan GENKINGER.
