FAIRFIELD. - Mrs. J.C. FERREL, 76, of south Libertyville, died at 9:30 p.m. Friday at the St. Joseph hospital in Ottumwa, where she had been since January 27.

She was born January 7, 1891, in New London, and was Anna M. MALLAM, the daughter of John and Mary DANIELS MALLAM.

She was married June 24, 1891, in Henry county to Mr. FARREL (sp). They lived in this community 51 years.

Besides her husband she leaves five daughters, Mrs. Esther STUMP of Douds, Mrs. Elsa CRAWFORD, Mrs. Elaine BONNETT and Mrs. Erma STUMP of Libertyville and Mrs. Evelyn BONNETT of Stockport; and five sons, Floyd and Ivyl FERREL of Batavia, Frank FERREL of Bettendorf and Lloyd FERREL of Estherville.

The body is at the Hoskins funeral home, where the funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday. The Rev. S.P. Williamson will be assisted by the Rev. Robert McPherson of Libertyville. Burial will be in the Burge cemetery at New London.
