Shirley Ann RUDE

Shirley Ann RUDE, 67, of Fairfield, died Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

Per Mrs. RUDE's wishes, the body will be cremated.

No services are planned at this time.

Behner Funeral Home & Crematory in Fairfield is assisting the family.

Shirley Ann RUDE was born Dec. 30, 1946, in Fairfield, the daughter of Marvin and Lucille Juna Mae RUGGLES CHAPMAN. She married Donald Herman RUDE June 11, 1967.

Mrs. RUDE was a lifelong resident of the Fairfield area. She graduated from Fairfield high School. She and her husband owned and operated the Corner Café in Keosauqua for five years; she was also a housewife for many years.

She enjoyed doing crafts, gardening, animals and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include: her husband, Donald RUDE of Fairfield; two sons, David RUDE and wife Sue of Keosauqua and Christopher RUDE and wife Nikki of Fairfield; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Wayne CHAPMAN of Ottumwa.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
