DEATH OF ALEC ALLERDICE at his home in Mystic. Born August 6, 1848; passed to his eternal rest June 6, 1924. He was married in early manhood to Miss Mary Elizabeth Rizor, June 6, 1871, in the old Bonnifield House (which is now called the Old Settler's Cabin) by Rev. S.T. Horton, one of the noted ministers of the day... Eight children, three having preceded the parents in death, Dora passed away when a babe; Jesse was accidently killed in a fall from a train in early manhood, and Mrs. Elizabeth Davis died from heart failure. Remaining are Mrs. Kate Parson of Mankato, Kansas,Charles of Seattle, Wash., Willie of Mankato, Kansas, Hugh, and Mable Blythe of Mystic. Laid to rest in the beautiful Mystic Cemetery beside loved ones.
