Robert Lee GOODWIN

Robert Lee GOODWIN, 91, of Marion, New York, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, New York.

Fulfilling the wishes of Mr. GOODWIN, all services will be private.

In memory of Mr. GOODWIN, donors are asked to consider donations to a charity of their choice. Condolences to the family can be left at www.watermanfuneralhome.com.

Normam (sic - Norman) L. Waterman Funeral Home in Newark, New York, is assisting with arrangements.

Mr. GOODWIN was born Dec. 11, 1922, in Fairfield, the son of Wilford and Grace HAMILTON GOODWIN. He was married to Eva HEADLEY GOODWIN for 67 years. She died Nov. 11, 2013.

He graduated from Fairfield High School and then attended Parsons College and Lansing Community College.

Mr. GOODWIN retired from GM-Oldsmobile where he was an engineer in the graphic design department.

He had a great love for automobiles and belonged to many car clubs. He enjoyed going to car shows, golfing, drawing and painting. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW in Fairfield.

Survivors include: one son, Daniel GOODWIN and wife Latty of Fairport; two grandchildren; and one sister, Carole MORRISSON of Iowa.

In addition to his wife, Mr. GOODWIN was predeceased by three brothers Kenneth, Wilford and Richard GOODWIN.
