OBITUARY.

Died, at her home in Walnut township, Jefferson County, Iowa, Wed. apr. 18, 1894, Mrs. Annie LAMANSKY of heart trouble. Born in Wilesie, West Priscon, Germany, July 26, 1833, her maiden name was Annie SERGOTT; married Peter LAMANSKY, Jan, 1851, and emigrated to this country in 1852, landing in New York the last of May, same year they went to Penn., remaining four years, from there they went to Jefferson County, Iowa in 1856....Mother LAMANSKY leaves aged husband and six children... one son, H.L., by whose side she now sleeps, died in 1891 aged 24 years. The other children, N.T., John and T. L., reside upon farms of their own in this vicinity; one son F.G., is in business at Council Bluffs, Iowa. The husband, together with the only daughter, Mary A., and the youngest son, P.W., will remain on the farm....Mother LAMANSKY was an honored member of St. Peters and Pauls Catholic Church in Germanville where assembled the many friends of the family to pay their last tribute of respect. The services were conducted by Rev. Father Jacob Meyer of Washington, Iowa, who has charge of the church at this place.
