Marjorie May Jones, 81, of Richland died Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at Parkview Manor in Wellman.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. June 12 at Richland Methodist Church in Richland, with the Rev. Louise Jones.

Mrs. Jones was born Sept. 25, 1922, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of James Carl and Cleoria Bell Miller Morrow. She married Arden Arther Jones May 28, 1943. He died Feb. 17, 1985.

Mrs. Jones attended schools in Washington, then moved to Canton, Mo. Later, she moved back to Washington, then on to New York where she was an inspector of World War II airplanes. After her marriage, she and her husband moved to Richland.

Survivors include two sons, Robert W. Jones and wife Louise of Denver, Colo., and Richard D. Jones and wife Carlene of Washington; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one infant daughter, Mary Katherine Jones; one infant grandson; and one daughter-in-law, Evelyn Jones.
