Nellie E. Morris, 79, formerly of Fairfield, died Saturday, May 29, 2004, at Kahl Home in Davenport.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel at Pine Hill Cemetery in Davenport.

Visitation will precede the services from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport.

Memorials can be made to First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Fairfield.

Mrs. Morris was born Sept. 19, 1924, at North Platte, Neb., the daughter of Franklin and Mabel Ommensen Wade.

She was the proprietor of the Hook & Eye Craft Store in Woodland, Calif., and retired in 1986.

Mrs. Morris was a member of First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Ollie Mallatte; and four brothers, George, Fred, John and Grant Wade.
