Alvaree DANELS

Alvaree DANELS, 83, of rural Batavia died at 12:46 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2004, at Univerisity of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Abingdon Cemetery in Abingdon, with Keevin Koch officiating.

No visitation is planned.

A memorial has been established to the family.

Raymond Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. DANELS was born Aug. 1, 1920, in Fremont the daughter of Floyd and Nellie PERRY KRIZER. She married Carl RAINBOLT. He died in 1940. She married Joseph William DANELS July 11, 1958, in Ottumwa. He died Oct. 23, 1991.

Mrs. DANELS lived most of her life in the Abingdon community. She attended Abingdon school and Packwood High School.

She worked in quality control at Universal Producing Company in Fairfield.

She raised her two grandchildren Michelle and Marty.

Surviving are her children, Michelle KIEWS and husband Bill of Abingdon and Marty RAINBOLT and wife Shirley of Abingdon; four grandchildren; and one son, Merrill RAINBOLT.
