E. R. EHRHARDT Taken in Death

Eugene R. EHRHARDT, 49, died Friday (note: Mar. 17, 1961) at 4:45 p.m. at his farm home seven miles north of Fairfield. He had suffered from a heart condition for seven years.

The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral home. Arrangements are pending.

EHRHARDT came to Jefferson county with his parents at the age of three, making his home on the same farm for the past 46 years. He was born Sept. 11, 1911, at Chenoa, Ill., the son of Valentine and Emma JACOBS EHRHARDT.

He was married to Millicent STONER June 3, 1933. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Methodist church and the IOOF Lodge No. 317 at Perlee.

Surviving are his wife and the following children: Walter EHRHARDT, Fairfield; Mrs. Karen SMITH, Hawthorne, Nev.; Jerry, Nancy and Roger, all students at Fairfield high school; and Rebecca, a kindergarten student.

Also surviving are four grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: William EHRHARDT, Mesa, Ariz.; Walter and John EHRHARDT, Tempe, Ariz.; Roy EHRHARDT, Swea City; Mrs. Elmer RAMSAY, Fairfield; and Elsie EHRHARDT, Kenelworth, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two sons.

Tuesday Rites For EHRHARDT

Last rites for Eugene R. EHRHARDT, Jefferson county farmer, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home.

EHRHARDT, 49, died Friday at his home seven miles north of Fairfield. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Merle Hill, Williamsburg, and the Rev. Ronald Kinzler. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Notice Is Hereby Given, that the undersigned has been duly appointed and qualified as the Administratrix of the estate of Eugene EHRHARDT, deceased, late of Jefferson County. All persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment and those having claims against the same will present them within the legal time, duly authenticated, to the undersigned, for allowance and file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court.
