ROLAND rites Wednesday

Services for Edith M. ROLAND, 76, Route 3, who died at 6:17 a.m. Monday at Jefferson County Hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight. Memorials have been established to the Fairfield High School Library and the Leapfrog Sculpture Fund.

She is survived by one sister, Ethel ROLAND of Fairfield, several nieces and nephews. Her parents, four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Miss ROLAND was born Sept. 29, 1911 in Jefferson County, the daughter of Henry and Mary Ann NILES ROLAND. She taught in the Jefferson County school system for 37 years, retiring 1973. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville and Jefferson County Retired Teachers Association.
