Beverly J. HOOTMAN

Beverly J. HOOTMAN, 80, a resident of Davenport, formerly of Fairfield, Iowa, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014 in Davenport at her residence at the Brookside Apartments.

Following her wishes the rite of cremation has been accorded. There will be private family services and burial will take place in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Birmingham, Iowa (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

The Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Beverly Joan GARRISON was born, October 1, 1933 in Jacksonville, Missouri a daughter of Gene and Thelma (BROWN) GARRISON. She was united in marriage to Dean Edwin HOOTMAN; he preceded her in death in 1984 after many years of marriage.

Those left to honor her memory include a son, Mark (Bonnie) HOOTMAN, Davenport, and daughters, Debra HOOTMAN, Richardson, Texas, and Connie HOOTMAN NORMAN (James), Wilmington, Illinois; 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and a sister, Joyce ADAMS, St. Louis, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Daniel J. HOOTMAN, in 1994.
