Lois M. HARRISON

The service for Lois M. HARRISON, 62, 809 S. Fifth St., who died Monday morning, May 9, 1994, at her home, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. John Meyer officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home. A memorial has been esablished to First Lutheran Church.

Mrs. HARRISON was born Nov. 10, 1931, in Fairfield, the daughter of Roy and Mildred NELSON JACOBS. She lived in the Lockridge community as a child and graduated from Lockridge High School.

On Aug. 26, 1951, she married William A. HARRISON at Lockridge. He died Nov. 25, 1987.

A resident of Fairfield all of her adult life, she was a secretary at Fairfield Junior High School for several years and had worked at Woody’s Cafe and Stever House Restaurant.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Martha Circle, First Lutheran Church Choir, Fairfield Women’s Club Chorus, and an auxiliary member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Eagles Lodge.

Surviving are a son, Dr. Michael HARRISON of Kansas City, Mo; two sisters, Etheline VORHIES of Viola, Ill., Doreen BAILELY of Fairfield, several nieces and nephews. Her parents preceded her in death.
