Adrien Allen AICHER

Adrien Allen AICHER, 21, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at his home in Boise, Idaho, after a yearlong battle with cancer.

Adrien's wishes were to be cremated. Services will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to The Bishop Foote House at St. Luke's Hospital, Boise, Idaho, and can be mailed in care of Ted AICHER, 1501 Osage Ave., Fairfield, IA 52556.

Adrien was born on July 24, 1992, at Misawa, Air Force Base, Japan, to Nick AICHER and Heather (HUNT) AICHER. He spent his first five years there, then moved to Mt. Home AFB, Idaho. He later moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, and then to Yelm, Washington. He graduated from Yelm High School in May 2010. He attended Devry University Olympia, Washington campus before moving to Boise, Idaho. He worked at Sears Boise before falling ill.

Adrien loved the outdoors, hunting, camping, playing rugby and football and attending Aicherfest at Lake of the Ozarks. He enjoyed reading and playing video games. He held a 1st Degree Black Belt in Taekwando. He was a fan of the Washington Redskins and all things Batman. He loved his dogs Isis, Freya and Caesar, but most of all his younger brother Logan Maxwell AICHER.

Adrien is survived by his father Nick AICHER, mother, Heather HUNT, brother Logan AICHER, grandparents Ted and Kathy AICHER of Fairfield, Iowa, and Howard and Linda HUNT of Fairfield, Iowa, Aunts Kelly (Chad) HOWARD of Moulton, Iowa, and Jennifer HUNT KALLIO of Nebraska, six cousins, and Great-Grandparents Max and Jean BEAVERS of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, as well as numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Great-Grandmothers Clementine BEAVERS and Vera AICHER and Great-Grandfather Dale AICHER, Great Aunt Karol BEAVERS and Great Uncle Bill EARLE.

Adrien was a gentle giant who will forever be remembered for his strength, courage, humility, kind heart, broad smile and infectious laugh.
