ALEC P. SMITH

Alec P. SMITH, a former Batavia resident, passed away Thursday at the Masonic sanitarium in Bettendorf (sic. Bettendorf, Scott county, Iowa). The body was brought to Batavia for the funeral and burial.

Mr. SMITH is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Claudia M. LONG of Little Rock, Ark., and two half brothers, Alva and Charles SIMTH (sic. SMITH) of Batavia.
