"Mrs. Nancy Jane Brereton, age 73, who resided 2 1/2 miles south of Lockridge, died this morning about 4 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Barnett, 402 W. Madison. . . . Buried Antioch. Widow of Wm. J. Brereton who died four years ago. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Moore and was born in Ohio Aug 28, 1852. Survived by three children: Mrs. Arthur Barnett of this city, Willard and Samuel of Stockport, and a grandson Wilbur Fetterman, whom she had raised since he was 11 days old. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Wm. Stewart of Mt. Pleasant, and a brother Lafe Moore of Casper, Wyo."
