Ellen Louise CALHOUN

Ellen Louise CALHOUN, 63, of 2237 Highway 34 died Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 10, 2001, at Parkview Care Center.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Benedict officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 6:30-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials have been established to the family.

Ms. CALHOUN was born March 27, 1937, in Fairfield, the daughter of Manley John and Clara M. LEE CALHOUN.

A lifetime resident of Fairfield, she helped at the Fairfield Senior Citizen Center and assisted with the Southeast Iowa Development Association bus.

She was a member of Foursquare Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Don CALHOUN and his wife June of Mount Vernon, Ohio, and Tom CALHOUN and his wife Joyce of Fairfield; two sisters, Betty BAILEY and husband Dick of Wayonka, Okla., and Mary SEWARD of Pekin, Ill.; and special friend Marvin KUZMICKI of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mildred FITZWATER; and one brother, John CALHOUN.
