Robert J. ORR, 34, of Keosauqua, died at 9:15 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2014, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Robert J. ORR, 34, of Keosauqua, died Sunday, June 15, 2014, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A funeral is at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Douglas Harding officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery west of Keosauqua (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

Visitation opens at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with family present 5-7 p.m.

Gifts to a memorial to be designated later by the family may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 806 Country Lane Road, Keosauqua 52565.

Mr. ORR was born July 15, 1979, in Ottumwa, the son of Larry E. and Darlene BROWN ORR.

He graduated from Van Buren High School and worked as a nurse's aide at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren and at Village Cup & Cakes, both in Keosauqua, and at Fairfield Hy-Vee Food and Drug Store.

Survivors include his parents, Larry E. and Darlene BROWN ORR of Keosauqua; one sister, Christina PECK and spouse Mathew of Luray, Missouri; and his grandmother, Donna BROWN of Keosauqua.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bruce BROWN and John and Marjorie ORR.
