Inez NORTON VALENTINE

Inez NORTON VALENTINE, 94, of Fairfield, died Saturday, June 7, 2014, at SunnyBrook Living Care Center.

A Requiem Mass is at 10:15 a.m. Saturday at St. Gabriel's and All Angels Liberal Catholic Church. A time of sharing will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sacred Sun Ministries and mailed to 2581 Glasgow Road, Fairfield 52556. Leave the check memo line blank; a notation could be added "inspired by Inez VALENTINE."

Mrs. VALENTINE was born June 11, 1919 in Inkom, Idaho. She married Nick VALENTINE.

She was a lover of nature and music.

She sang leading roles in high school operetta and publicly throughout her life.

She was noted for her artistic abilities and had art showings in Fairfield.

She was a nurse, a Unity minister and Toastmistress.

She was a contributor to the book, "Being Our Own Heroes," published in Fairfield.

Survivors include two daughters, Annette MELMON of Fairfield and Rita BYBEE of Inkom, Idaho; and one granddaughter.
