Ron WHITE, 79, of Batavia, died Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

Arrangements are pending at Gould Funeral Home in Eldon.

Grace Funeral Care's website had a complete obituary posted which provides the following excerpted information: Ronald Dean WHITE was born in Marshalltown, IA, on January 20, 1934, the son of Walter B. and Florine MARQUIS WHITE. He attended Marshalltown schools and earned degrees from Central College in Pella and the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls; he taught elementary school and later was an elementary school principal. He married Margaret Elizabeth RINGGOLD in 1953. He passed away at the age of 80 at 1:30 a.m.. He is survived by his wife Margaret, sons Jonathan and James, sisters Bonnie GRABENBAUER and Donna DAVIS; preceding him were his parents, a brother Lawrence, and sisters June MILES and Betty BAER. Services at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 15, at Living Hope Bible Church in Eldon, IA, with burial in Eldon Cemetery (in Wapello Co., IA). Grace Funeral Care of Eldon assisted the family.
