Pamela 'Pam' LEDGER

Pamela "Pam" Lynn LEDGER, age 43, of Hedrick, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Prairie View United Methodist Church with Pastor Dave Peterson officiating. Cremation will follow. Private inurnment will be held at a later date.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2014, at Prairie View United Methodist Church north of Packwood, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Pam Ledger Memorial Fund. Memorials and cards can be mailed to 3121 146th Blvd. Brighton, IA 52540.

Pam was born March 14, 1971, in Iowa City, Iowa. She graduated from Fairfield High School, class of 1989. She has lived most of her life in the Hedrick, Richland and Ollie area. Pam worked for Cambridge Investments as a Team Lead in Partner Support and Loriann's restaurant in Richland.

Pam's life revolved around her three daughters and grandson. Her favorite activities included cheering for her daughter Emma's running events at Central College where she will graduate this spring, supporting daughter Sydney's activities including band, choir and sports at Pekin Community Schools, and spending time with her daughter Amanda and grandson Carson. She loved riding her Harley Davidson (sic - Harley-Davidson) motorcycle, working out with her friends and was planning travels to visit her favorite spots at the ocean in the future.

Pam is survived by Virgil and Janice LEDGER of Brighton Iowa; Janet PECK of Fairfield Iowa; her daughters, Amanda NELSON of Mt. Pleasant Iowa, Emma NELSON of Pella Iowa, and their father Nathan NELSON of Lockridge Iowa; Sydney SNYDER of Hedrick Iowa; her father Scott SNYDER of Boone Iowa; one grandson, Carson STAGERS of Mt. Pleasant Iowa; two brothers, Greg LEDGER and his wife Sarah of Brighton, Iowa, and Phil LEDGER of Ollie Iowa; and special friend Matt Welcher of Hedrick, Iowa.

Pam was preceded in death by her grandparents and great-grandparents.
