Heidi CARMAN, 28 of Eldon, died Thursday, April 24, 2014, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Arrangements are pending at Grace Funeral Care in Eldon.

Note: The above obituary is all I have on hand at the moment; there will likely be a more complete article in a paper I have yet to receive. Meanwhile, the Grace Funeral Care website has a complete obituary for her which provides the following facts: Heidi Alaura CARMAN was 28 years old, and died as a result of injuries from a car accident. She was born May 31, 1985, to Wallace and Jean (BOX) McCALLUM. She married Michael CARMAN in 2007 and had three sons. In addition to her husband, sons, and parents, she is survived by eight sisters, Lorna McNAY, Tina FREEMAN, Teresa CHANDLER, Crystal CHANNEL, Alisa LUTJE, Courtney SHAW, Amber McCALLUM, and Heather MAIZE; a brother, Greg McCALLUM; eight nieces, 25 nephews, stepbrothers William and Henry DAVIDSON, in-laws, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her grandmother Marie BOX preceded her in death, as did an uncle Robert BOX and a brother-in-law Robert VALENCIA, Jr.. Services were held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, at Living Hope Bible Church in Eldon, with visitation immediately following. Grace Funeral Care in Eldon assisted the family with arrangements.
