James MILLANE Rites Pending

James H. MILLANE, 58, former resident of Jefferson county, died Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Kaiser Memorial hospital in Wilmington, Calif. He had been ill for two years and serious the past two weeks.

The body is being returned to the Raymond Funeral home in Fairfield where last rites the past two are pending.

James H. MILLANE was born Jan. 29, 1907, in Jefferson county, the son of John and Frances KASPRZYKOWSKI MILLANE. He was reared and educated in Jefferson county and farmed in this community until he entered military service in 1942.

Following his discharge from service he worked for Alcoa on the west coast, and later became a longshoreman until his health forced him to retire. He was a member of the Catholic church and the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Theresa MILLANE, Wilmington, Calif.; Sister Mary Caremita, Nevada, Mo.; Mrs. A.J. ARNDT, Fairfield; John MILLANE, Fairfield; Bill MILLANE, Fairfield; and Anna MILLANE, Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
