Ivan "Ike" Wesley Brumm
April 19, 2004Ivan "Ike" Wesley Brumm, 72, of Alamo, Texas, and formerly of Fairfield, died Thursday, April 15, 2004, at his home.
The body has been cremated by Elizando Funeral Service in Mission Texas. No service is currently planned, although a memorial service will be held at the Brumm family reunion in July in Coralville.
Mr. Brumm was born Feb. 2, 1932, in Curlew, the son of Henry John Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Drown Brumm.
He grew up in Curlew and graduated high school there. He spent most of his life in Iowa before retiring and moving to Texas.
He was part-owner of S&R Equipment in Birmingham and owner of Brumm's Inc. formerly in Fairfield.
Survivors include his wife Kathaleen "Kay" Stansberry Brumm; one son, Mark Brumm of Indianola; and three grandchildren; one brother, Elmer "Red" Estel Brumm; and one sister, Ilah Ruth Brumm Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, David Wayne Brumm; and two brothers, Henry John Brumm Jr. and Rolland Sylvester Brumm; and one granddaughter.
