Dorothy H. STONER, 72, 404 S. Fourth St., died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 1991, at Jefferson County Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Wallarab officiating. The casket will be closed by Mrs. STONER's request. Friends may call at Raymond Funeral Home to sign the register book. Instead of flowers, the family requests memorials to Fairfield Public Library.
Mrs. STONER was born Sept. 5, 1918, in Fairfield, the daughter of Vern and Helen LEECH SPEER. She lived her entire life in Jefferson County and graduated from Fairfield High School. She married William Henry STONER on June 25, 1938, at Kahoka, Mo. He died March 18, 1987. She was a member of Cross Lanes Club.
Surviving are two sons, Daniel Ray of Carmen, Ill., James Eugene of Fairfield; 10 grandchildren and a brother, Richard SPEER of Apple Valley, Minn. Her parents, and two sisters, Alice Jean SPEER and Margery PECH, also preceded her in death.
