Elizabeth Hawley Case
April 14, 2004Elizabeth Hawley Case, 53, formerly of Richland, died Thursday, April 8, 2004, at her home in Keota.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Gould Funeral Home in Richland, with the Rev. Larry Brown officiating. Burial in Richland Friends Cemetery will be at a later date.
The family will greet friends at the funeral home in Richland beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday.
A memorial has been established for the family. Memorials may be left at the funeral home.
Mrs. Case was born June 25, 1950, in Grand Junction, Colo., the daughter of Ronald and Doris Hawley Jackson. She married and divorced Carl Setser. She later married Howard Case Aug. 28, 1995, in Mount Pleasant.
After growing up in Hotchkiss, Colo., she lived in California and Ohio. She moved to the Richland area in 1980 and to Keota in 2002.
Mrs. Case was employed in the services sector, including as greenhouse attendant and factory laborer.
Before her health began to fail, she was pursuing a business administration major at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington.
She was a member of the VFW auxiliary in Fairfield and the American Legion in Richland.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Marie McCauslin of Richland, Jacqueline Setser of Keota, Pamela McAllister of Keota and Melody McAllister of Keota; and two grandchildren.
Her mother preceded her in death.
